MORE Opera collaborates with The Discovery Orchestra (TDO) of New Jersey for “Discover Angelitos Negros”(Little Black Angels), a dramatic exploration of folk music, opera, and spirituals showcasing the musical traditions traditions of Black and Latino cultures. The free concert features an interactive examination by TDO founder George Marriner Maull.

Respiro Opera, NYC is an intensive training program designed to aid the artistic development of the emerging young professional. Classes focus on the breath and physical freedom with hands on Alexander Technique, Body Mapping, and Yoga specifically tailored for singers. The freeing of the body and breath is essential and compatible with all vocal techniques. Participants in Respiro Opera’s program will work with basic stagecraft and the skill set required for today’s opera performer. Each singer is responsible for the word by word translation. Arias and scenes are discussed with respect to the cultural and historical framework of composer and librettist.

LAH-SOW is an intensive Vocal coaching workshop culminating with a trio of semi-staged performances with projected subtitles.

LAH-SOW will be offering Mozart's COSI FAN TUTTE in Philadelphia, PA from July 10th-22nd. 

The mission of this project is to expose the singers to the rigors of thorough musical awareness to the degree that they could apply this technique to approaching other roles. They will be further armed and equipped to tackle auditions and competitions, enhancing their hireability.
